ARCHIVE CENTER

DSI provides off-site archive and vault storage for inactive and vital records in various forms, including: paper, microfilm, microfiche, magnetic media, geological samples and geophysical data. DSI also offers the following archive center services:

· Prompt retrieval services, including tape rotation for data frequently updated and/or replaced;

· Document destruction;

· Project management for records related projects;

· Reboxing and/or inventory of client’s records;

· Telephone, fax or e-mail initiated research and retrieval by trained records technicians;

· Storage container sales.

DSI’s Archive Center

SECURITY

All storage areas are secure and monitored through state-of-the art technology with direct links to external central controls.

The DSI archive centers are equipped with advanced security systems including: smoke detectors, motion detectors, sprinkler systems, surveillance cameras with recording devices and card key access systems. Internal security includes: box banding, storage area access limited to authorized personnel only, restricted inventory identification.

DSI’s Fireproof Vault houses magnetic and electronic media, microfiche, microfilm and vital records. The vault is equipped with: humidification and climate controls, halon sprinklers and extinguishers. Vault systems are tied to critical condition sensors which are wired to a 24 hour monitored security panel.
